Golden Globes 2023

The Golden Globes returned to the world stage, gorgeous audiences with an unforgettable evening of excitement as the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) celebrated the 80th anniversary of their signature awards. Comedian Jerrod Carmichael hosted this year’s event at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California.
Among the evening’s big winners, “The Banshees of Inisherin” was awarded for best picture, musical, or comedy. Steven Spielberg’s autobiographical The Fabelmans was also one of the big winners, scooping best drama film. In the television categories, “House of the Dragon” won the Golden Globe for best drama television series, and “Abbott Elementary” scored a win for best television series, musical or comedy.
Cate Blanchett was named best drama actress for her performance in Tar, but was not present to collect the prize as she is working on a production in the UK. Other winners who were not at the ceremony included Kevin Costner and Zendaya, who won best TV drama actress for Euphoria.
